How forbzz handles data

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how forbzz collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use forbzz. It applies to the website, profile creation flow, ranking pages, and related services.

2. Information you provide

• Profile details such as name or alias, email, bio, company, source of wealth, citizenship, age, and profile image.
• Google sign-in identity information, including your verified email, name, and Firebase user ID.
• Stripe API credentials you submit to connect a profile.
• Referral invite relationships when a founder joins from another founder's invite link.
• Legal acceptance records, including the date a profile accepted the Terms and Privacy Policy.
• Messages or requests you send to support, legal, or privacy contacts.

3. Stripe data we process

When you connect Stripe, forbzz uses the submitted live key to verify account access and retrieve Stripe balance and balance transaction information needed to compute rankings. We calculate summary metrics such as net volume, fees, daily movement, trailing 30-day net volume, currency, and payment counts.

We do not need your Stripe webhook signing secret for these rankings. We recommend using a restricted live key with only Balance and Balance transactions read permissions.

4. Public profile information

Published profiles are controlled by your selected visibility level. Public visitors may see your display name or alias, bio, company, source of wealth, profile image, stated citizenship and age when provided, Stripe-derived ranking position, privacy-safe metric labels, achievements, referral badges, currency, and verification status.

Your email address and full Stripe API key are not intended to be displayed publicly. Exact values are displayed publicly only when you select Exact values for metric visibility.

5. Technical information

We may collect technical information such as IP address, browser type, device data, timestamps, pages viewed, security logs, cookies, and session data. This helps run the service, prevent abuse, debug errors, and protect user accounts.

6. How we use information

• To create, verify, publish, rank, and update forbzz profiles.
• To retrieve Stripe data and calculate public ranking metrics.
• To protect the service, prevent fraud, and troubleshoot errors.
• To respond to deletion, privacy, support, or legal requests.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

7. Credential storage and security

Submitted Stripe credentials are stored in encrypted form and may also be held in secure, HTTP-only cookies for continuity. We store key masks, status, and timestamps so users can understand connection state without exposing the full key.

You can revoke a Stripe key in your Stripe Dashboard at any time. Revoking a key is the fastest way to stop future Stripe API access from that key.

8. Sharing

We may share information with service providers that help us host, store, secure, monitor, and operate forbzz. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use Stripe account data for cross-context behavioral advertising.

9. Retention

We keep profile and credential records for as long as needed to operate the profile, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain security logs. Session draft data for profile creation is stored in your browser session until you submit or cancel the flow, but the Stripe key field is not retained in browser draft storage.

10. Your choices and rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, or removal of a profile by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights such as portability, restriction, objection, appeal, or opt-out rights.

11. Children

forbzz is not intended for children under 18, and we do not knowingly create profiles for children.

12. International use

If you use forbzz from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other places where our providers operate.

13. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy as the service changes. The effective date above shows when this version became effective.
